The CSE program at SVS is an elite track designed for computational mastery.     Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

    PEOs 1–3

    • PEO1 (Preparation): To offer students sufficient understanding of the field of Computer Science & Engineering, including computer fundamentals, basic engineering principles, and design methodologies, enabling them to pursue related postgraduate programs and be successfully employed in the software industry.
    • PEO2 (Breadth): To train students with broad and up-to-date knowledge of Computer Science and Engineering to comprehend, analyze, design, and implement high-end software applications, and to test solutions for real-world problems while appreciating the value of efficient design to meet changing requirements.
    • PEO3 (Core Competence): To provide students with a strong foundation in computer science and engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, basic engineering, and communication skills, enabling them to succeed in advanced coursework and apply their knowledge to solve complex real-world problems, thereby developing analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

    • PEO4 (Learning Environment): To provide students with an excellent academic environment that emphasizes depth, originality, and critical thinking, enabling them to grow into highly technical or managerial roles and fostering lifelong learning for successful professional and personal growth.
    • PEO5 (Professionalism): To enhance students’ professional skills, including responsible teamwork, creativity, and communication skills, and to prepare them to understand and incorporate societal needs and constraints in their professional achievements while practicing their profession with high ethical responsibility.

    PO1: Engineering Knowledge
    Understand knowledge of fundamental software engineering mathematics, engineering sciences, and CSE specialization to solve engineering problems.
    PO2: Problem Analysis
    Identify, formulate, review literature, and analyze problems using mathematics and computer engineering sciences.
    PO3: Design/Development of Solutions
    Design and conduct engineering experiments, analyze and interpret experimental data.
    PO4: Investigations of Complex Problems
    Use research-based methods including design of experiments, algorithm analysis, data interpretation, information synthesis for valid conclusions.

    Create, select, apply appropriate techniques and modern engineering tools including prediction and modeling, understanding limitations.

    PSO1: Problem-Solving Skills

  • Apply probability, statistics, and mathematics through differential and integral calculus, along with relevant sciences and applications appropriate to Computer Science & Engineering. Use standard practices and strategies in software project development, applying programming environments to deliver quality software products.

  • Demonstrate the ability to understand, analyze, and develop computer programs in areas such as algorithms, software design, programming language concepts, data analytics, and networking for the efficient design of computer-based systems of varying complexity.
